In KWEST club at Lange, 6th and 7th graders work with Lego Mindstorms to learn about engineering, robotics, and programming. So far this year students have learned the basics of programming the RCX microcontroller using Robolab software, how to interface touch and light sensors to their robot to achieve various behaviors, and the effect that different gear ratios have on their robot's speed and power.
